Jeffrey, a junior from Birmingham, AL, is majoring in mathematics and economics and minoring in physics, computer science, and social innovation & leadership. He currently sits as committee head of the Industrials, Transportation, & Energy committee. Jeffrey spent his summer interning with Vulcan Value Partners where he was inspired to continue a career in equity research. Jeffrey will be continuing with Goldman Sachs as an Equity Research Summer Analyst in summer 2019. His dream job would to be a professional golfer, but he spends most of his time cooking, participating in carpentry, and playing board games with friends.
Stephen is a senior majoring in finance with a specialization in value investing from Birmingham, AL. He has spent his entire CIMG career in the Industrials, Transportation, & Energy committee and had the opportunity to work as an Equity Research summer analyst at Foundation Resource Management in Little Rock, AK, this past summer. Stephen hopes to work in investment banking following graduation, but has the dream job of eventually becoming a farmer. In his free time, Stephen enjoys fishing, golfing, and cheering on the Crimson Tide football team.
Asaf is a sophomore finance, economics, and psychology major from Palo Alto, CA. He is also pursuing a minor through the Randall Research Scholars program. This past summer he worked as a data management consultant for a healthcare company, and he looks forward to joining PwC as and Advisory Intern in their Technology group in summer 2019. In his free time, he enjoys weight lifting, swimming, and being an active member of the ZBT Fraternity.
A native of Deerfield, Illinois, and a finance and mathematics major with a minor in mathematical statistics, Michael is a sophomore in the Financials committee. He is pursuing a career in investment banking and this past summer worked as a software intern for an auditing software company. His dream job would include acting as a Portfolio Manager at a hedge fund where he hopes to put his interests of entrepreneurship and reading to work.
Originally from Moline, IL, Connor is a sophomore majoring in Mathematics and Finance. He joins the IT&E committee during his first semester in CIMG. Last summer, Connor had the opportunity to work with the Illinois Department of Transportation and hopes to pursue a career in investment banking after graduation. Connor cheers on the Chicago Bears and listens to music (primarily in Spanish) during his free time. He is a former member of the Alabama Track and Field team.
Margot is a sophomore from Evanston, IL, majoring in Finance and minoring in Accounting. She is excited to join the IT&E committee, as it correlates with her career goal of becoming an equity research analyst. Margot also represents the Crimson Tide as a member of the Alabama Cross Country and Track Teams. She is an avid sports fan, of course, and lets everyone know that she has been to more White Sox games than Cubs games in her lifetime.
Emily is a freshman from Dallas, TX, majoring in Physics and Studio Art with minors in Randal Research Scholars, Blount Scholars, and Mathematics. Last summer, she had the unique opportunity of working as an Art intern at Robot Entertainment in Plano, TX, and as a Fencing Counselor at Camp Waldemar. She hopes to become a researcher in physics after graduation but has the dream of eventually becoming a mattress tester at Sleep Number. In her free time, Emily enjoys working with Photoshop, practicing Aerial Silks, and coding.
