Mitch Doran is a senior from Dallas, Texas, majoring in Finance, with minors in both Mandarin Chinese and Psychology. Mitch has had experience interning at a China-based private equity firm in Shanghai, and most recently at Wells Fargo in their Healthcare Investment Banking Group in New York, New York, where he will be returning to work full-time as an Investment Banking Analyst following graduation. In his free time, Mitch enjoys outdoor recreational activities, reading autobiographies and watching Step Brothers
Lena is a junior from San Antonio, TX, majoring in mathematics and finance and minoring in social innovation & leadership and the Randall Research Scholars Program. Lena has been with the healthcare committee for 4 semesters and will be graduating in May of 2021. This past summer, she worked at Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management in Washington D.C. In her free time, Lena likes to go hiking, do barre class, or play Texas Hold'em.
Henry is a native of Birmingham, AL, majoring in Finance, Economics, and Accounting with a specialization in Value Investing. He enjoys learning more about the healthcare sector in CIMG, as his background knowledge is primarily in retail. In 2011, Henry founded Magic City Finds, a vintage furniture resale company. The entrepreneurial spirit runs in Henry’s veins, and he hopes to develop a successful startup after graduation. Henry interned at New Capital Partners, a private equity firm in Birmingham, during the summer after his sophomore year.
Melina is a junior from West Bend, WI, majoring in accounting and finance. She sits on the healthcare committee and looks forward to interning for Barclays in Chicago, IL as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in 2020. This past summer, Melina interned in Ernst & Young’s audit department in Bucharest, Romania. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching The Office, playing tennis, running half marathons, and traveling.
Reid Blackmon, a sophomore from Rome, GA, is studying Finance, Economics, and Philosophy at the Capstone. He spent his summer studying economics abroad in Eastern Europe. Reid's dream job would be to own his own company and have time to be a fiction author on the side. In his free time, Reid enjoys live music, reading, and pondering the nature of existence.
