Jake Gardner, a junior from Westminster, MD, is studying Finance and Economics at The Capstone. He sits as the Aerospace & Defense committee head. This past summer, Jake interned with Regions Financial’s Strategic Planning and Internal Mergers & Acquisitions team and looks forward to working as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Bank of America in summer 2019. Jake’s dream job would be to eventually start his own company, but for now he is content with being a fan of The Office, an identical twin, and a member of UA’s Club Soccer Team.
Johnny Reese

Johnny is a senior from Merion Station, PA, majoring in mathematics, finance, and economics and minoring in social innovation & leadership. He’s had the pleasure of working with CIMG for the last 6 semesters. Following his sophomore year, Johnny had the opportunity to intern with Goldman Sachs’ Market Risk team in Dallas, TX. He then headed back to Philadelphia following junior year where he interned with Vanguard’s Corporate Finance department. Johnny looks forward to starting full-time with Bain & Co. in Atlanta, GA, following graduation. Johnny’s life highlight includes when he placed 4th in a corn dog eating competition, eating 11 corn dogs in 15 minutes. He hopes his tenure at UA will lead him to his dream job as a closer for the Philadelphia Phillies.

Nick is a sophomore from Cincinnati, OH, majoring in mechanical engineering and mathematical statistics. He sits with the Aerospace & Defense committee and had the opportunity to work at The Kroger Company as an energy engineering intern this past summer. Nick looks forward to interning as a Data Analyst at 84.51 for summer 2019. Nick enjoys watching The Office, keeping up with politics, and watching college football.
Aaron Vander Linde

Aaron is a junior mechanical engineering major with a minor in mathematical statistics from Hinsdale, Illinois. He works with the Aerospace & Defense committee and has spent his last two summers interning with Sustainable Insight Capital Management and Cardo Capital. He would love to work at a startup following graduation. Aaron spends his free time snow skiing, wake boarding, and making appearances at date parties.

Peter Tosh, a senior from Cincinnati, OH, is a mechanical engineering major with a minor in entrepreneurship. He has used his prior experience interning with Toyota Motors Manufacturing as a Production Engineering Intern and with Mercedes Benz US International as a Maintenance Engineering Intern to contribute to CIMG’s Aerospace & Defense committee. Eventually, Peter would like to be a small business owner, but for now he enjoys playing rugby, running, and clay shooting.

William is a native of Wilmington, NC, studying aerospace engineering and minoring in history and general business. He is a junior and currently sits with the Aerospace & Defense committee. This past summer, William had the opportunity to intern with nCino as a developer for the banking software company. He hopes to eventually work in his dream job as an engineer for SpaceX. In his free time, William enjoys skiing, biking, and watching movies.

Lauren is a junior from Nashville, TN, majoring in Finance and minoring in Mathematics. Starting her tenure in CIMG this semester, Lauren joins the Aerospace & Defense committee. This summer, she will be a Quantitative Analyst Intern at PNC in Pittsburg, PA, and is pursuing a position in corporate finance after graduation with a goal of eventually becoming CFO of Hershey’s. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys her time spent studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland, running, and watching any and all of Julia Roberts’ movies.
Sam Barnes

Originally from Huntsville, AL, Sam is a freshman studying Management Information Systems. He joins the Aerospace & Defense after internships with the Director of Communications & Infrastructure at GSH of Alabama and Network Services for Huntsville Utilities. Sam hopes to pursue a career in Management Consulting after graduation and eventually become an independent business owner. In his free time, Sam enjoys wake surfing, backpacking, and completing his pilot’s license.
