E.V. is a senior from Akron, Ohio studying finance with a specialization in financial engineering and a minor in computing technologies & applications. She has been in the group since her freshman year and has completed internships at Merrill Lynch and Vulcan Value Partners. This summer, E.V. will be interning at Goldman Sachs in the Global Investment Research division in New York. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her sorority sisters, watching the office, and listening to the Black Keys.

Thomas is a junior from Birmingham, AL double-majoring in Chemistry and Accounting and minoring in Social Innovation and Leadership. He has been with the Consumer Discretionary committee for 2 semesters and will be graduating in May of 2022. Thomas is pursuing a career in management consulting and interned this summer with New Capital Partners, a private equity firm in Birmingham. In his free time, Thomas enjoys listening to podcasts, playing basketball, and going to the gym.

Carsen Piacsek is a sophomore from Waukesha, Wisconsin majoring in Mechanical Engineering and is on the STEM Path to MBA. Carsen has been a member of the group since the first semester of his freshman year and is a member of the Consumer Discretionary Committee. Carsen looks forward to continuing to learn about value investing during his sophomore year in hopes of finding an internship for the following summer. In his free time, Carsen enjoys staying active, and spending time with friends, and following sports.

Mary Kate Cusick is a junior from Cincinnati, OH and has been a member of CIMG since Fall 2019. She plans to graduate in Fall 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and obtain her master’s degree to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. She recently interned with the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in the Billing Department. In her free time, she enjoys reading, documentaries, and playing with her pets.
